Everest region is the second most popular trekking region in Nepal and each year this region receives thousands of trekkers and climbers. Once you reach Solu Khumbu, the gateway to Everest, you will be greeted by great stunning views of the Everest and many other highest mountains. The other highlights of this region are the beautiful Sherpa villages and monasteries. For most of the trekkers, the primary goal is the Everest Base Camp which is at an elevation of 5,340m.

This tour leads though a spectacular alpine landscape with fantastic views to the world‘s highest mountain!  On the way to Gokyo you pass the first Gokyo lake Longponga Tsho and the second Gokyo lake Taboche Tsho.  The village Gokyo is located on shore of the third Gokyo lake Dudh Pokhari and is surrounded by mountains.  On the summit of Gokyo Ri, shimmers the lake in brilliantem emerald-green.  Further Highlights are the views to Cho Oyo, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cholatse and Taboche. Gorakshep is the gateway to Mount Everest Basecamp (5,340m) and the summit ascent to Kalapattar (5,545m), which offers breathtaking views.
