Tamang Heritage Camping & Tea House Trek

Ghatlang

The new Tamang Heritage Trail leads through traditional villages of the Tamang ethnic group.  The Tamang ethnic group has Tibetan origin and lives mainly in the Langtang region. Until today you can recognize the Tibetan influence in lifestyle, culture and traditions.

During this tour, you learn a lot about the culture, about the inhabitants and their traditions. Furthermore you can enjoy the beautiful landscape with the high mountains, flat meadows and the colorful rhododendron forests.

Feel the sincerity and heartiness of the inhabitants and the magic of the Ganesh Himalaya.

During the trekking we spend the night usually in simple lodges with little comfort and simplest sanitary plants. In the guest houses, double rooms cannot be guaranteed; overnight stay in more bed rooms is possible.
