Climbing

Since the beginning of time snow and ice covered mountains have a large fascination on people.  Eight of the fourteen highest mountains of the world are located in Nepal.  The Himalaya Mountains, residence of the Gods, are overwhelming and many myths have grown around these ice giants.  The Nepal Mountain Association (NMA) classified altogether 33 summits and divided into two different group (group A with 15 expedition peaks and group B with 18 climbing peaks).  According to group and number of participants, different fees occur for the ascent.  The permission for the ascent of the respective peaks can only be applied by a trekking agency registered in Nepal.

Below you will find examples as to how your climbing tour to ascend a peak could look. We shall be pleased to assist you in planning your own personal Nepal tour and offer you various different tour suggestions. Please have also a look on the section “Fixed Departures”;  maybe you will find already a suitable tour for you. Contact us.
